How to deal with problems in life?

"..People without problems can only be found in graveyard." Yes! its true. Every one of us have problems whether it is small or big. Our ability to deal with problems and grow stronger every time by learning the lessons from each problem we encounter, makes our lives challenging and exciting. Those who doesn't have the guts to deal with problems in life are merely existing. Not living!

A winner must always see a problem as an opportunity to succeed or advance further in his or her chosen career. Even the worst happenings of your life can be a turning point towards success if you've the right mindset of a winner.

To understand how winners deal with problems, let's analyze the real story of a legend. Keep reading this story again and again until you thoroughly learn the lessons hiding in it.

This is the story of a man who achieved incredible success in his life and career. His name is Soichiro Honda, founder of the Honda Corporation, maker of Honda motorcycles and cars.

Mr. Honda never allowed tragedy, problems, challenges, or the
twists and turns of circumstances to get in his way. In fact, he often decided to see some of the biggest obstacles in his way as mere hurdles in the race to reach his goals.

In 1938, Mr. Honda was a poor student who had a dream of designing a piston ring that he would sell to any manufacture for Toyota Corporation. Every day he would go to school, and all night long he would work on his design, up to his elbows in grease. He spent what little money he had on his project, and it still wasn’t finished. Finally, he hocked his wife’s jewelry to continue.

After years of effort he finally designed the piston ring he was sure Toyota would buy. When he took it to them, they rejected it. He was sent back to school to suffer the humiliation of his teachers’ and friends’ telling him what an idiot he was for designing such a ridiculous gadget.

You can imagine how frustrated and broke he was then..But did he give up? No way. Instead, he spent the next two years continuing to find ways to make the piston ring better.

Finally, after two more years, he refined his design, and Toyota actually bought it!

In order to build his piston factory, Mr. Honda needed concrete, but Japanese Government was gearing up for World War II, so none was available.
Once again, it looked as if his dream would die. It seemed no one would help him. Again, did he quit? Absolutely not. He had decided to build this factory.
Since giving up was not an option, he got together a group of his friends, and for weeks they worked around the clock trying different approaches until they found a new way to manufacture concrete. He build his factory and was finally able to produce his piston rings.

The story doesn’t end here. During the war, the United States bombed his factory, destroying most of it. Instead of feeling defeated, he rallied all his employees. He said, “Quickly! Run outside and watch those planes. What they’ll do is drop their fuel cans out of the sky. We need to find out where they drop them and get those cans, because they contain the raw materials we need for our manufacturing process!” These were materials they couldn’t get anywhere in Japan. Mr. Honda found a way to use whatever life gave him. Finally, an earthquake leveled his factory and he was forced to sell his piston operation to Toyota. But God never closes a door without opening another one, so we need to stay alert to see whatever new opportunities life presents us…

When the war ended, Japan was in total turmoil. Resources were scarce in all part of the country – gasoline was rationed and, in some cases, nearly impossible to find – and Mr. Honda couldn’t even get enough gas to drive his car to the market to buy food for his family. But instead of feeling defeated or helpless, he made a new decision. He decided he would not settle for this quality of life. He asked himself a very powerful question: “How else can I feed my family? How can I use things I already have to find a way to get there?” He noticed a little motor he had, one that was the size and type to drive a traditional lawn mower, and he got the idea of hooking it up to his bicycle. In that moment, the first motorized bike was created. He drove it to and from the market, and pretty soon his friends were asking him to make some for them, too. Shortly there after, he’d made so many “motorbikes” that he ran out of motors, so decided to build a new factory to manufacture his own. But he had no money, and Japan was torn apart. How would he do it?

Instead of giving up and saying, “There’s no way,” he came up with a brilliant idea. He decided to write a letter to every single bicycle – shop owner in Japan, telling them that he thought he had the solution for getting Japan moving again, that his motorbike would be cheap and would help people get what they needed to go. Then he asked them to invest.

Of the 18,000 bicycle – shop owners who received a letter, 3,000 gave Mr. Honda money, and he manufactured his first shipment. Was he successful even after doing that! Nope! The motorbike was too big and bulky, and very few Japanese bought it. So once again, he noticed what wasn’t working, and instead of giving up, he changed his approach again. He decided to strip his motorbike down and make it much lighter and smaller. He called it The Cub, and it became an “overnight success,” winning Honda the Emperor’s Award. Everyone looked at him and thought how “lucky” he was to have come up with this idea.

Now What do you think about Mr. Honda's success? was he LUCKY?

Well..An ordinary person would think he is lucky. But a winner knows that 'HONDA CREATED HIS OWN LUCK!'

To conclude the important lessons:

Honda knew what he wanted.

He took massive determined action to achieve his goal.

He saw every problem in his way as an opportunity to succeed.

In the midst of every problem, he questioned himself-'How can I use things I already have to find a way to get there?'This kind of thinking allowed his brain to bring out amazing answers that pulled him towards success.

When things doesn't go as expected, He kept on changing his approach until he discovered a way to succeed. Realizing what works and what doesn't. (remember; if your goals are achievable & realistic, but your plans are not working, don't change your goal. Change your plan or action approach to achieve your goal. Those who change goals when they face difficulties are losers!)

Honda found a way to use whatever life gave him.

He had an incredible never give up attitude!

Today, Mr. Honda’s company is one of the most successful in the world. Honda Corporation now employs over 100,000 people and outsells all but Toyota cars in the U.S. – all because Mr. Honda never gave up. He never let problems or circumstances get in his way. He knew that there is always a way to succeed if you’re really committed.
This is how a winner should deal with problems in his life.
Anyway this is only one example among millions of such real success stories. There are even great stories about people who went on to achieve great success despite of their physical conditions or terrible circumstances (like cancer survivors, handicapped athletic champions, blind person climbing mount Everest, person who born with no arms and no legs becomes world renowned motivational speaker etc.)

Hope you've got the important lesson behind the success of Soichiro Honda. If not..read in between the words how he overcame problems? His attitude towards different happenings of life. Always remember you cannot develop such an attitude overnight. It requires commitment, discipline and lot of practice. When you master it, you'll start noticing that people calling you 'lucky' or 'successful'!!!

3 Easy Ways to Happiness

Happiness is a conscious Choice

Happiness is a mind set. Its a state of mind. when things happen the way we desire, we naturally feel happiness. But if things won't workout the way we like, or something bad happens in our life, we tend to feel so much worried about the situation.

Many peoples think that the problems in our life, makes us unhappy. But in reality, it's our attitude towards the problem, that makes us unhappy. A problem is only a problem if we choose to see it as a problem. We must learn to be happy by making a conscious choice to be happy.

when something bad happens, which you don't like, ask yourself these question:

"I have two choices now:

to worry about the problem through out all day long

or

to learn the lesson from it, and be happy for the opportunity I've had with that problem"

It doesn't matter whether the problem is big or small, all that matters is how you choose to see it, your attitude towards the problem.

if you choose to see it as an opportunity to learn from, then that will make you happy.

So when you encounter with any problem next time remind yourself,
"I'm in total control of my life

I can consciously choose to be happy right now.
This problem is an opportunity for me to learn something very important, that will benefit me in the long term.

Count your blessings

Often, peoples forget the blessings they have. they always curse their fate and God because of the things that they don't have in life.they constantly worry about their own life by thinking that they are inadequate, incapable, talentless and so on..

And they belittle themselves by saying like this:
"I'm born to struggle like hell..

I will never become successful because of BAD LUCK...
My life sucks, Oh god,Why me..
I don't have any talents, My job is so bad to cope up with, I don't like to go there,
Why I am always unhappy, why I can't become rich, why I'm not able to do great things that others are doing,
my life is a waste.."
it goes on and on like this...

These are few thoughts that comes to the mind of many peoples when they are having problems.
But what we forget is to count our blessings. Everyone is unique. everyone of us have special talents and abilities that others don't possess.

we are unique in our own way of doing things, no one can do things as perfect as you do it.
we must be grateful for the gifts that we have.
Just relate your life with peoples who are blind, dump, deaf, handicapped, peoples who born without limbs, peoples who are struggling with incurable diseases like cancer and Aids, orphans, beggars, homeless peoples and so on...
when we think about them and their problems, we feel as if we are living in HEAVEN.

During hard times, instead of filling your head with negative thoughts, count your blessings that will makes you happy.

Always be grateful for the facts that:

you are alive

Be grateful for your HEART, it works 100,000+ times without even taking a break just for you

you can feel, touch, taste, smell, see and hear, you might be having all the senses

you have no abnormalities

you have unique talents which others don't have

be grateful for having your parents and family

be grateful for who you are

be grateful for having water, food and shelter for there are peoples who die because of thirst and hunger

be grateful for being healthy for there are peoples who die because of diseases and accidents

there are so many things you can be grateful for, that makes you HAPPY right now if you think about it

And remember that it's a CHOICE!

Have a direction in life

Know where you want to go and then go where you want to go.

In life, we must have a definite purpose to live. An ultimate dream worth fighting for. if you don't know what you want out of your life, then you are not truly living. You are just drifting towards death. Don't let somebody tell you what to do with your life or where you have to go in life.
You are the soul owner of your own life. When writing the story of your life, don't let anyone else hold the pen. When you are in pursuit of your dream, your heart will dance with joy and happiness which you've never felt before.

Everyday you wake up from your bed with enthusiasm and hope, because you've an ideal reason worth working for, that separates you from the rest of the crowd, and ultimately that will make you happy. You are working for your own dreams which you have always loved to do, While others are working for someone else's dream, you might be knowing what it's called as 'Rat race.'

I need not to explain about the happiness that you get from doing the things that you've always loved to do.

This is why having a direction in life is so much super important.
this is the only way to reach fulfillment.
This is the greatest way to be happy always.

The happiness that comes from living your dream life, the kind of life that you've always dreamed of, is incredible.
